Gillaroo Trout from Ireland

This site is part of the continuing adventure to catch all of the worlds trout and is about the trout in England, Wales, Scotland, Ireland, Greenland and Iceland. The picture on the front face is a unique trout from Ireland know as Gillaroo. This trout and all of the others in the Atlantic Islands are part of the website and supporting book. The book will be available in 2015 and is part of the Trout Adventures series of books about a worldwide search for trout. The site is about finding water and trout in all of the countries. These islands offer vastly different in fishing experiences. The famous rivers in England, Wales and Scotland offer some of the most technical fishing that can be found while the loughs of Ireland require different techniques. Greenland and Iceland may be the best locations in the world for a couple of trout species. The site has pictures and articles but all of the detail information is in the book. It is a full color book about the countries as well as the trout and will be out soon.

TROUT ADVENTURES - THE BRITISH ISLES, IRELAND, GREENLAND AND ICELAND is scheduled for completion in 2015. The book is a drive to the rivers of England, Scotland and Wales and a search of the rivers on Greenland and Iceland. Ireland was different and there was more lake fishing there than any other country. Each country and the trout fishing that was found is discussed along with the tips and techniques that worked.
